Online Communications Manager - In-house Leisure - £25k - £30k - Hemel Hempstead
A fantastic opportunity for an online guru to stimulate positive word of mouth and online buzz for a leading name in holiday destinations. As the Online Communications Manager, you will be responsible for managing the brands reputation and shifting perceptions through the increasingly important online medium. You will be working closely with the marketing and digital teams in this fun organisation, and literally given a carte blanche to make this newly created role your own.
Key responsibilities include:
· Brand reputation management
· Online monitoring and policing of the web
· Proactively seed online content written and video onto relevant website and online social communities
· Constantly keeping abreast of key websites and blogs, monitoring where the organisation is being discussed, and also and more importantly, identifying where it is not being talked about
· Build relationships with powerful bloggers
· Advance the visibility and reputation of the brand using new media to communicate key messages to all audiences
Key skill and attributes include:
· An understanding and experience of working with online media channels is absolutely integral, as is a thirst and enthusiasm for all things online
· PR experience is preferable but not essential if you can demonstrate the essential skills of having excellent writing skills and a passion for the internet
· Technically savvy and computer literate
· Resourceful and creative with strong attention to detail
· Strategic skills and a commercial mind

Based in Hemel Hempstead, the salary is dependent on experience. 20 days holiday and performance related bonus in line with company profits.
