The Company
Our client is a tourism office for a European country. You will be based in W1 and will on occasion be required to travel to their European HQ.
The Role
Primarily you will be responsible for developing and implementing consumer and trade PR activity, running an efficient press office and developing promotional strategies. Furthermore you will ensure that positive relations are maintained with the HQ and will work closely with them particularly when organising press trips. The management of the PR agency and production of the monthly newsletter will also come under your remit.
The Person
You will be AM/SAM level or a Senior Press Officer ready for promotion. You will have knowledge of the travel sector and relevant press contacts to match. In addition you will be able to lead the brand into the consumer lifestyle space, particularly targeting the women's media - print, online and broadcast. You will be happy working within a small team.
The role is for an initial 6 months and candidates need to be available to start work in October.
