Job Description

An award-winning, pioneering and innovative Public Relations agency has a unique opening for an Account Executive to join their thriving team near Oxford working on Corporate, Technology and B2B accounts. They have an impressive client catalog of well-known and highly reputable Corporate and Technology clients. The winning candidate will play a key role in supporting a number of key accounts, primarily focusing on business to business accounts.

Key elements of this role will be:

- Writing, issuing and selling-in press releases
- Securing host media interviews
- Client reporting (coverage and activity)
- Tracking, pitching and securing features
- Daily business, trade and consumer media contact to build relationships and secure client mind-share
- Maintenance and management of team resources (media lists, features and awards calendars)
- General news monitoring to flag competitor news and hijacking opportunities
- Creative brainstorming for coverage generation ideas
- New business research and involvement in prospect meetings

To be considered for this diverse role, you will have a B2B, Tech or Corporate PR background. Agency experience is strongly desired, although they will consider in-house candidates too. You must have excellent communication, writing skills, client liaison and media relations skills as well as a tangible passion for PR.
