Job Description

We have an exciting 3 month contract for a talented and enthusiastic Account Director to join one of the leading public relations agencies in the UK. This is an interim position and they are looking for an experienced Account Director with sound strategic planning and advisory skills as well as the ability to develop brand-led campaigns for a number of multinational consumer electronics and consumer tech clients.

As interim Account Director, you will oversee and contribute to the development and delivery of effective and successful campaigns across the board. Working on a well-known and exciting Consumer brand within the electronics sector and another in the leisure sector, the successful candidate will be responsible for the account team, developing Consumer Tech driven creative public relations campaigns, as well as coordinating media relations and providing strategic client counsel.

They're seeking someone who is:

- A motivational and proactive character
- From a Consumer Tech agency background
- Full of ideas and creativity for strategy and implementation
- Existing contacts in media/consumer tech space
- Plenty of social media expertise and experience
- A background in providing senior level counsel to clients and colleagues

As a senior team member, you will also play a significant part in supporting new business initiatives, proposal development, pitching and growing the company overall. This diverse role will also see you building on your digital communications skills and ensuring all campaigns have a digital PR element where relevant.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have solid Consumer Tech PR experience (ideally working on leisure/consumer electronics/tech clients), strong communication, client servicing and leadership skills as well as a real passion for Consumer PR.
