This London council is looking to recruit a media Senior Communications Officer from the beginning of August. You will cover a permanent member of the team while they work on a separate project.
As a media specialist you will need to hit the ground running and have the confidence and experience to deal with a variety of queries from both local and national media. You will be providing high quality, dynamic communications, in order to enhance and promote a positive image of the council and its services.
You will need to be adept at working in a changeable press environment on a range of issues and to tight deadlines. It is essential that you are also able to facilitate two-way communications between the council and a variety of key stakeholders. You will need to ensure clear and effective messaging to a range of audiences through a variety of media.
