Do you want to work with nature or conservation? This is the sole purpose of this organisation and they are looking for a PR & Communications Officer for six months initially but with a good chance of going permanent.
You will proactively promote the organisation raising its profile regionally, nationally and internationally, develop media relations and proactively seek promotional opportunities that raise awareness of the organisation. You will be writing press releases, preparing media statement, briefing of third parties, dealing with media requests and enquiries.
You need to have a PR background including media management, campaign management responsibilities, good understanding of current environmental issues, a self-starter, team player, ideas person and someone willing to get stuck in.
