Our client, a recognised Membership Body, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Events Manager to join their busy communications department in supporting the delivery of the organisations communications strategy.

The successful Events Manager will become a vital part of the department, raising the profile of the Membership Body through effective management of events and conferences. The post holder will be required to liaise with employees at all levels of the organisation; council members and stakeholders in order to deliver all aspects of the external events programme, be responsible for researching and developing new ideas and ways of delivering events, as well as ensuring the smooth running and efficiency of all conferences to maximise the Membership Bodies contact with all its audiences.

Ideally the appointed Events Manager will have previous Events Management experience, being able to demonstrate in depth knowledge and understanding of the management of events within a Public Sector environment, have the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and have excellent presentation skills.
