You should have either corporate experience, public sector experience or meaty consumer issues experience and will want to work across a broad mix of these client types.
The kind of person who thrives in this agency is one who has a can-do, creative and hands on approach to leading their team. Your responsibilities at this level run deeper than at other agencies and as such, you should be a solid strategic thinker who is confident and capable enough to be fully involved in strategy and setting programmes for the year - you will be expected to have some client interaction, but for the most part you will be shaping the strategy weekly and monthly.
Ultimately you will be the engine that is driving your team to deliver results. You will be working on big meaty issues-based accounts, so you really do need to be a broad thinker and be happy to roll up your sleeves and get involved in all aspects - whether that be talking to the media or liaising with the CEO of a blue chip.
