Due to an important new client win, this agency is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Account Executive with experience from within the education sector.
They are an award-winning public relations agency whose knowledge, experience and strategic insight into the education market and technology sectors is unrivalled in the industry.
They offer specific expertise in business to business (B2B) technology, business to consumer (B2C) technology, Information Communications Technology (ICT) in education, telecommunications, electronics and technology.
Their client experience ranges from major blue chips through to government-funded organisations.
They have high client retention levels (eight years plus in some cases) and a growing team of talented communicators.
Main responsibilities of this position -
As an integral member of an experienced team, this Senior Account Executive role is a dynamic hands-on position with the imminent view to fast-track to account manager. The role will be varied and challenging working with high profile clients in the education sector, including a key government initiative where you will be driving tactical media campaign planning, as well as managing stakeholder and influencer relations, brand awareness campaign and event management. Involvement in new business pitches and preparation, client consultancy and reporting and training support of new staff will provide opportunities for your further growth.
Who?
Previous PR experience as an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive, with established national and business media and industry contacts.
Were looking for someone who has perhaps had the opportunity to run some form of educational or awareness campaign nationally for b2b clients, or perhaps having worked on an 'awareness' day of some sort.
Media relations, stakeholder relations and event management is included so there is lots to take on and run with including opportunity for some direct account ownership, as well as the additional benefits of working across a larger team for support.

Proven ability to keep abreast of current affairs and relate them to client situations
