Established public sector / CSR / consumer issues agency with a focus on sports is looking to take on an account manager due to considerable agency growth and new business.

This vibrant, well established agency specialises in the delivery of grassroots sports programmes for blue chip clients, charities, public sector and governmental bodies.

                                                             

Person Spec:

• Excellent media contacts, can work well under pressure and can prioritise workload
• Familiarity or understanding of current grassroots sport, good nose for a story and an ability to think creatively and get key messages across
• Celeb partnership understanding and a good nose for a story
• Responsible for the development and implementation of PR strategy for all projects
• Managing the in-house PR for the agency (inc. website updates, award entries, liaising with industry media to highlight new business wins / internal changes)

Job Spec: 

• Raise the company's profile, awareness and understanding amongst key target audiences

• Develop implementation and timeline plans for all PR activity
• Proactively generate and sell in' news and feature ideas
• Build relationships with key media and clients
• Nurture and secure relationships with celebrities
• Produce external communication content
