PR Senior Account Executive - Up to £25k pa - Croydon, Surrey
Our client is one of the UK’s most successful marketing communications agencies specialising in the engineering and industrial sector. Established for over ten years, they serve some of the world’s leading industrial groups focusing on five core activities – Public Relations, Contract Publishing, Graphic Design, Web Design/Multimedia and Database Management. Through expansion, they are now seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their team.
Duties include:
•Managing day-to-day running of client accounts in conjunction with Account Director
•Building positive, productive client relationships
•Liaising with editors and journalists to seek out editorial opportunities
•Taking briefs from the client and planning the workload in conjunction with Account Director
•Planning of feature articles and placing them in the press
•Briefing agency personnel on the client’s requirements
•Where required managing the production of client newsletters
•Assisting with organising and running events such as press conferences
•Liaising with in house and freelance writers
Experience/Qualifications
•Preferably educated to degree level
•Experience of a public relations or marketing communications environment either in house as public relations assistant or agency as Account Executive
•Proven client handling abilities
•Ability/willingness to learn and understand engineering or technical subjects
•PC literate

•Great communicator with good social skills
•Excellent organising ability
•Ability to work to deadlines
•Self-motivating and ability to work on own initiative
•Ability to handle several accounts simultaneously
•Ability to thoroughly check work for mistakes/errors
