A large construction company is seeking an enthusiastic and hard working individual for the role of bidding assistant to work within their London office. The company are very ambitious and are currently building their marketing department and as such they are looking someone to help drive forward their successful submissions rate.
The post holder will be expected to:
· Assist with the creation of tenders and PQQs.
· Pitch to clients to win key projects.
· Use various DTP applications to aid the design to improve overall effectiveness of submissions.
· Learn the industry to enable yourself to target avenues for new business.
· Be more than willing to have some training on new systems and company methods by the proposal manger.
The successful candidate needs:
· Experience in Preparing tenders, bids and PQQS
· An understanding of what makes a strong submission
· To have experience working in a professional services or construction environment
· To be keen to develop their design skills you will be trained in the following but need to already know how to use In-design, Photo-shop and Illustrator.
