The Role:
Opportunity to take on a pivotal role in Hitachi Europe's Public Affairs team, supporting the roll out of Hitachi group strategy in Europe. You will be responsible for developing a PR plan in line with the corporate & European business plan and executing daily PR activities, along with a leading external agency, to raise awareness amongst national, European and trade journalists plus stakeholders across Europe.
Experience:
Track record of working as in a similar multi national, listed organisation is critical
Previous experience in a Japanese company would be desirable
Exemplary corporate and B2B media relations skills and journalist contacts
Well versed in crisis management and have the ability to influence people at all levels and from different cultures.
Flair for languages. It would be desirable if you could speak Japanese and/or other European languages including French and German.
