Job Description

An independent PR consultancy, which is particularly experienced in the Consumer Healthcare sector, has a new opening for a talented and creative Account Executive to join their team of PR experts in Gloucestershire. As Account Executive, the successful candidate will be a key driver in supporting PR activities across a number of accounts, as well as developing long-term strategic programmes for both the agency and its clients.


Some of the duties of the person taking on this role will include:

- Press release drafts
- Photocalls
- Invitations
- Simple feature writing
- Press kits
- Background research
- Proposal development
- Reporting
- Client liaison
- Social media work
- Organising creative and making bookings
- Arranging events and briefings


As a pivotal member of the team, you will have both the logic and creativity to implement successful Consumer Healthcare PR campaigns for a diverse range of clients. You will ideally have a solid background in healthcare public relations (preferably from an agency setting), or at least a keen interest in the healthcare sector. This agency will also consider journalists looking to make the switch to their first PR role.

To be considered you must be hard working and quick-thinking with an adaptable, honest and professional outlook. You must also be a good listener and able to complete tasks with precision and efficiency. The ability to take constructive criticism on the nose and meet deadlines while working under pressure is also an important set of traits.
