PR Account Manager- Up to £28k - Chessington, Surrey (relocating to Kingston in the next 12 months)
The Agency
Our client is a full service PR, design and digital agency seeking for an experienced PR Account Manager to join their PR team. They work with blue chip clients across many sectors: luxury, travel, leisure and FMCG,
Role
As an Account Manager, you will work on a range of fantastic FMCG brands including Stella Artois, Beck's, Brahma, Hoegaarden, Tennent's, Laughing Cow, Mini Babybel, Leerdammer, Port Salut. Your role will be primarily in the business to business area, so you will need to have an understanding of the trade press and ideally have worked in the FMCG sector before.
You will have responsibility for managing the copy writing schedule of press releases and feature copy, handling press queries, working up proposals and day-to-day client liaison. You will be working closely with an Account Executive, Account Director and Events Manager. You will need to be proactive, resourceful, creative and take responsibility for driving the account forward.
Ideally you will have an understanding of the wholesale, retail and customer network within the FMCG sector. You will need to take responsibility for promoting positive brands coverage and recommending actions to counter negative stories
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about brand communications in the FMCG trade sector, who enjoys a challenge and who wants to be involved in a fun, dynamic multi-disciplined agency.
