One of the world's best known consumer goods companies, with a raft of blue chip brands in its portfolio, seeks a PA Manager to manage policy issues and external stakeholders within the UK business. As part of the public affairs team, you'll ensure integration of policy issues into broader communication activities, supporting the business's response to the changing external environment and influencing and shaping public debate around key issues. You'll manage and coordinate stakeholder engagement programmes, providing expert advice internally, working closely with management teams and keeping internal audiences updated with key policy developments and the subsequent business implications. Essential will be a track record of delivering within a fast changing environment along with a strategic approach to issues management, an appreciation of the media landscape, and the ability to interpret external trends and advise on their implications for the business. Furthermore, you'll be an accomplished relationship builder, practised at forging relations with a range of external and internal stakeholders.
