A leading public relations agency has a new opening for a polished Senior Account Manager to join their team of Financial PR experts and work across a diverse and exciting portfolio of Financial Services accounts. This lively agency needs an experienced and ambitious individual with some solid financial PR experience.

The successful candidate will either support or lead the account team on the day-to-day running of the agency's high-profile accounts, as well as providing account related council on public relations strategy to develop and deliver engaging and influential campaigns. Some of the responsibilities of the new Senior Account Manager will include:

- Writing press releases/material
- Strategically planning, implementing and delivering PR campaigns
- Working with/liaising with the media
- Fostering and nurturing strong relationships with teams, media contacts and clients
- Pitching for new business
- Guiding the team to success

The role requires an experienced, diligent and motivated public relations professional, with an in-depth understanding of the industry and an exceptional media relations track record. They are seeking someone with the following qualities:

- Experience from an in-house or agency PR role within Financial Services
- An excellent academic and PR background
- A team player approach, problem solving attitude and results focussed mindset
- Business acumen
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
