INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER - INTRANET

Leading Global and Retail Bank is looking for an Internal Communications Manager to develop, manage and maintain an effective intranet which will support the business to meet its goals and reflects its strategic vision….

The Role:

-Internal Communications Manager - Intranet
-Develop, implement, manage, review and amend as necessary the internet architecture, design, services and content
-Develop and manage intranet strategy
-Own the overall delivery of intranet activity against internal communications plans working closely with internal communication colleagues
-Create and generate ideas for content ensuring it reflects the correct branding
-Ensure the intranet reflects the brand
-Provide trend information and site statistics
-Clearly define/understand scope of projects project managing time/budgets
-Work closely with wider internal communication team to incorporate the intranet into measure programmes
-Ensure inactive and outdated sites are used, updated or taken offline
-Manage request for intranet sites
-Actively seek to be the one stop shop for intranet queries
-Manage the intranet budget
-Investigate key developments in intranet technology

The Person:

-Extensive intranet experience
-Good understanding of internal communications
-Good written skills, with ability to write to tight deadlines
-Ability to identify innovative content
-Able to market and champion the intranet across the organisation
-Excellent understanding of intranets and current developments in this area
-Excellent knowledge of online communities
-Experience of evaluating the intranet
-Stakeholder management
-Experience of working for a financial organisation
-Experience of working on internal communication strategies
-Ability to understand the bigger picture and how to incorporate company goals, strategies into local business units
-Work when needed with a wider internal communications team
