Do you enjoy working on consumer issues accounts? This medium size agency in SW London is looking SAM/AD to join its 25+ strong team. You will work primarily on the agency's largest account, a big name in consumer well being running UK and global campaigns. The brand you will be working on is a global giant with a range of fantastic products, and requires its profile raising in the UK
Your remit will be structured on two level
1.Expertise and Authority providing communications support to help leverage the brands authority amongst professionals in the sector and the media
2.Product Launches developing communications strategies and PR tool kits for new product innovation launched in Europe, Lat Am and Asia.
As your role will involve you in global programmes, part of your role will see you familiarise yourself as to what works in different markets so that the programmes are sympathetic to different cultures.
You will need experience that will enable you to be able to demonstrate you:
-can develop practical communications programme that are simple/cost effective to implement
-can think strategically but can translate strategy into tactical plans
-can motivate external PR agencies to implement our programmes
-is highly organised, always thinking of what to do next in relation to the account
-excellent project manager and inspirational to the rest of the team
-exceptional communications skills written and verbal
-willing to work independently, or with a team as needed
-shows initiative to get the job done
-has very high quality standards
Desirable but not essential attributes
-has worked in both developed and developing markets
-speaks another European language
There will also be the chance to work on some other exciting consumer brands.
Experience of working on consumer brands would be desirable, particularly food and drink. PR experience gained in an agency is essential as is strong writing skills, experience of managing a team and running high profile strategic comms programmes. Good client counsel is also important.
