Reporting to the PR Manager, and working in a supportive and friendly marketing team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing consumer campaigns to raise awareness of this particular service within the organisation. This service is predominantly aimed at the young but is available to all so it will be looking at creating campaigns to capture a variety of audiences. You will be dealing with regional, national, broadcast and consumer press, selling in case studies and features which could involve human interest stories, success stories, stunts and more. Some of the campaigns are education based so there will be some work with schools, parents and teachers. You will need to be brimming with enthusiasm, have strong demonstrable writing skills and a proven track record of dealing with regional, national and consumer media, along with lots of ideas on how to get coverage for the brand and the products/services. An interest in the automotive sector would also be beneficial, as would excellent organisational skills. PR experience is essential. You must also be within commuting distance of Basingstoke.
