A Unique and high profile advisory body is looking for a creative PR Manager with strong consumer experience to join the team responsible for Communications and Engagement. You will deliver a range of challenging PR projects that will involve reaching an untapped consumer market with the aim of creating awareness, and prompting action, on planning for the future. The Role
In this a newly created role you will be responsible for creating and delivering a series of consumer campaigns to a wide and challenging audience. Creativity, innovation and organisation will be key to your success.
- Creative, consumer biased PR Manager to deliver focused integrated consumer PR campaigns
- Initiate ground-breaking campaigns using the full mix of media channels including popular consumer magazines, radio (regional and national), You Tube and all social media
- Working with the Media Manager and Head of Media and PR to help with the effective functioning of their press office
- Contribute to the continued development of the extent and depth of relationships with key media at national level (including broadcast)
- Provide analysis and report on campaigns
- Develop and deliver media and PR tools and collateral
- Provide briefings and support at events and interviews
- Work on projects for Head of Media and PR and Corporate Affairs Team
The Candidate
You will be a self starter, used to thinking 'outside the box', enjoy the challenge of turning a dry subject into something exciting, fun and 'now'.
- You will have previous experience of creating, designing and implementing creative consumer PR campaigns and delivering on key objectives
- Experience of content writing for a variety of consumer facing audiences
- PR agency, charity or busy in-house background
- You will have good contacts with journalists
- Used to working in a fast pace and deadline driven environment
- Ideally 'frontline' press office experienced
- Strong communications skills, written and verbal
- Creative, enthusiastic, willing to go the extra mile
- Copes well under pressure, team worker
- Be able to demonstrate past creative experience
