This is an exciting & challenging role with responsibility for the delivery of high quality, creative communication to both trade, industry & customers, in line with brand guidelines & wider strategic objectives.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you role will encompass development of an external communication strategy, preparing press releases & other external communication materials, monitoring & communicating press cover, devising PR support for new product launches, and co-ordinating PR events. Building strong relationships with key media contacts will be key to maximise positive company exposure & raise brand awareness.
Degree educated in a marketing or related discipline and/or CIM qualified, the perfect candidate will have demonstrable experience in consumer PR, ideally within retail or consumer goods, developing & delivering creative, effective PR activity & campaigns. A journalist background and/or IPR membership would also be beneficial. You will have a good eye for detail and passion for high quality, along with strong communication skills & the ability to focus on getting the job done.
