Our client, a well known National Charity, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Senior Media Officer to join them on a part time basis.
The successful Media Officers main objectives will include supporting the Media Manager and Chief Executive in increasing the awareness of the charities profile via media relations, public awareness campaigns and corporate communications and events.
Responsibilities of the Media Officer will also include; developing, implementing and evaluating media relations strategies and campaigns across the whole of the UK as well as writing and distributing news releases, arranging press briefings, media interviews, photo opportunities and events.
Ideally the appointed Media Officer will have previous experience of working in a busy press office, be an expert in developing and evaluating communications strategies and writing for publications.
A knowledge of charities and the not for profit sector will also be a distinct advantage.
