An invaluable opportunity has arisen within a leading architectural firm for a Design and Communications Assistant to join their creative and innovative design studio.
The Design and Communications Assistant will be responsible for;
- Structuring, creation and modification of large multi page PDF or Web based HTML Design Manual documents
- Compilation and subsequent distribution of the documents via CD, print or the web
- Image creation / editing / manipulation
- File management and server housekeeping
This is a highly technical and design based role and would be a unique opportunity for a Designer / Graphic Designer to broaden their skills and their horizons within a renowned architectural firm.
The successful applicant will have;
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent English grammar, including spoken & written etc...
- Good time management and multi-tasking
- Proven ability to identify and solve problems
- Solid understanding of most industry standard software: Photoshop, Acrobat, In-Design and preferably Adobe Framemaker and HTML
- Although not a graphic design position, a good understanding of layout / composition is essential
- An understanding of architectural/interior design issues/jargon would be preferable
