A leading management, systems and technology consulting firm is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their manufacturing department as soon as possible. They are offering either an immediate one month contract or a permanent role to start in September. They are a global firm of over 3,000 talented individuals, with offices in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia. The consultants work across the private and public sectors, with particular strengths in financial services, energy, life sciences & healthcare, government & public services, manufacturing and telecommunications.
The role involves:
- Marketing Auditing: Analysing the macro- and micro-environment for and the internal capabilities so as to objectively assess the key issues that the marketing team need to address
- Setting of Marketing Objectives so as to align Marketing Plan.
- Line Management: Lead with other specialist marketing teams, the global marketing plan for the company, the Manufacturing marketing audit, and the objectives for the integrated sector team.
- Setting a Marketing Strategy that defines the approach for delivering marketing objectives.
- Defining the Marketing Tactics for the department that deliver against the marketing objectives and strategy and which are achievable within the marketing budget.
- Potentially creating an international marketing team and managing staff at arms length
The candidate must have:
- Experience in marketing management and business development within a large professional services company
- Prior hands-on experience of the manufacturing sector
- Account management experience
- Strong delivery and negotiation skills and the ability to quantify results
