A National PR Manager is required for a Professional Services Organisation to deliver profile raising activities through the firm's press office. As the National PR Manager you will be responsible for co-ordinating the firm's PR and communications activity. The National PR Manager will be a creative self starter, commercially aware and have the ability to build sound relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Working within National Marketing team to run a professional and cost-effective press office
Building and managing media relations: interviewing spokespeople, liaising with journalists and working with colleagues to provide a continual flow of news and "hot topics"
Monitoring the media daily to identify issues and opportunities for comment
Proofing and editing all national PR material
Forging and maintaining solid internal relationships, especially with partners and the national/regional marketing teams
The National PR Manager will have:
A B2B PR background in professional services, preferably accounts
Excellent communication and rapport building skills, both written and verbal
Proven copywriting and editing experience
Strong social media knowledge (including use of blogs, Twitter)
Project management awareness as well as outstanding planning/organisational skills
