Are you tired of the large agency environment and looking for the opportunity to ‘run your own show’? In essence we are looking for a gregarious and driven PR professional who is looking to make a vital contribution in a small but growing communications consultancy. Your time in a larger agency environment has given you experience in account management systems and your PR & Communications skills have impressed both clients and colleagues alike. However, you are now looking for a change and believe that a smaller team will truly allow you to shine.
Although small, this consultancy is ambitious and needs a team player that is searching for career growth in an environment were they can really make a difference. The ideal candidate will have a track record in a communications/PR environment including experience of working within a strong account management structure. The successful applicant will bring the knowledge of robust account management, reporting and monitoring systems and take responsibility for implementing this into the consultancy. In addition they will be handling clients at a senior level within the consultancy’s key sectors of professional services, public sector and creative industries.
You will still possess a passion for writing and have the ability to generate good copy for a broad range of audiences. This is a hands-on position that requires you to handle the expectations of your clients and deliver every time. An understanding of the regional media and political landscape would be a distinct advantage, as would an interest in current affairs and the ability to influence business, political and public leaders.
