- Senior Media Relations Consultant - Telecomms. Newbury £35,000
Newbury location - Would you be keen to play a lead role in the Technology Media Relations of a very high profile mobile provider maximising their reputation?
Would you like to proactively develop & manage media/pr programmes to promote the companies technology credentials?
Are you keen to develop media coverage to position this organisation as the industry leader?
Well, this job encompasses all of that and much more.
The role:
• Driving proactive Media & PR campaigns
• Address specific issues of media coverage and work for a positive news flow agenda
• Provide response to issues of interest to media commentators& other interested
• parties
• Liaise with other internal teams to highlight customer benefits
• Support senior management
• Manage all Comms relating to suppliers contracts
• And much, much more - too much to list here
Your experience:
• Able to handle sensitive situations with tact
• Able to present ideas & concepts persuasively
• Able to influence internal and external decision makers
• Experience of large organisations
• Good organiser who can work on several projects at the same time
• Ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines
• Desire to succeed & excel
