Account Manager PR - up to £35k dependent on experience - Waddon, Nr Croydon, Surrey

This well established yet rapidly-expanding company which provides public relations, contract publishing, database management, graphic design and new media to the engineering, industrial, IT and telecommunications sectors, are now seeking for a PR Account Manager to join their client services team.

Duties include:
Client main point of contact
Developing ideas and actively creating all elements of the marketing communications mix €" from editorial to direct mail
Liaising with editors and journalists
Taking briefs from the clients
Planning campaigns €" from editorial stories through to direct mail content and target audience
Planning of feature articles
Briefing agency personnel
Managing the production of clients' collateral and presentations
Planning press conferences and other events
Managing budgets
Liaising with in house and freelance writers
Writing news, product releases and articles
Managing Account Executives

Key Qualifications/Skills:
You will be to graduate level (preferably technical/engineering)
You will need to have a solid background in a B2B public relations or marketing communications environment either in house as public relations assistant or agency as Account Executive in engineering and/or business-to-business sectors
Proven writing skills
PC literate

Personal Attributes:
Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
Able to see through problems and innovate with fresh ideas
Able to handle simultaneously several accounts
Ability to work to deadlines
Must be a good organiser
Ability to communicate technical subjects at all levels
