A large and highly respected law firm are looking for a Senior PR Executive to join their London Office. The company provides an expert capability in the commercial and corporate markets, the public sector and the financial services and insurance market. They have also been nominated for a number of awards including Legal Business Law Firm of the Year.
Reporting to the Senior PR & Communications Manager, the role is to provide high level advice to partners, associates and business support on best practice for public relations activity, particularly media relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure public relations activity is focused on reflecting the firm's brand values and to provide PR support for firmwide, international practice groups and industry sectors
- To identify high level, long-lasting campaign themes that will position the firm as a leader in particular field while ensuring less campaign-led media coverage is also secured with news stories and articles in all types of media
- To be proactive in assisting integration of PR activities across the firm's international network
- To act as media spokesperson for the firm; dealing with media enquiries and writing news releases
- To co-ordinate and, where necessary, draft submissions into Awards, particularly dedicated legal awards
- To work with and provide advice to other members of the marketing & business development team on wider projects and guide when necessary to ensure their activity is in line with the firmwide marketing plan
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or the equivalent, with experience in a PR role, working closely with the press and media, within a legal firm
