A well known and successful management consultancy firm are looking for a PR Officer to join their friendly and productive team.
The company are a consulting and business services group that provides many of the design, managerial and engineering services that support modern society. They work with government agencies, local authorities, government-regulated industries and the private-sector to provide safe, reliable roads and railways, well-managed education and civic infrastructure, clean water, and cost-effective energy.
The candidate:
- Excellent writing experience; the ideal candidate will be a journalist with PR experience
- Previous work experience within a professional services company
- Degree educated or equivalent
- Experience working within a PR department to strict deadlines
- Interested in current affairs
- Able to work on pressure and to short time scales
- Enthusiastic, flexible, confident and hard working
The role:
- Help develop and implement public relations' strategy for a dedicated business stream
- Help develop public relations campaigns using a range of communications methods
- Build and maintain relationships with key national and trade journalists
- Write press releases, features and case studies for national and trade press
- Liaise with senior managers within the company to generate positive media content
- Respond to press queries
