Job Description

Our client is an award winning PR Agency located in Brighton who is looking to expand their team at all levels.

They are currently looking for an account director whose role will combine account direction for a number of existing accounts and a continuing requirement to find and close new business.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will need to have considerable relevant PR experience, ideally having worked agency side (although candidates with client side experience may also be considered)

Job Description

The position involves:

Defining PR and communications strategy to meet the individual objectives of each client
Defining creative media campaigns to meet strategic needs
Building a network of media and journalist contacts
Driving forward client relationships and acting as main contact for clients
Reporting on and planning client campaigns
Leading, motivating and developing and account team to successfully deliver client PR campaigns
Achievement of agreed quarterly targets, including revenue
Contributing effectively to the creation and delivery of business strategy both within management meetings and in day to day business activity
Identification of new business opportunities and successfully propose sales campaigns that deliver profitable business to the agency
Successful delivery of client campaigns within budget
