As part of an international team with responsibility for external communications to national and international audiences, you will be responsible for planning and implementing proactive media relations programmes to support key business units, working closely with senior management and acting as mentor to junior members of the team. In conjunction, you'll provide a first class media response service, advising managment on issues, providing media training and coaching, and ensuring consistency of message across all supporting materials. A practised media handler with a track record gained in a complex business, you'll be decisive, happy to take responsibility and quickly get to grips with issues while exercising sound judgement and clear thinking. Honed writing skills are vital, preferably gained in a journalistic or communications role and you'll demonstrate a keen team spirit and a natural leaning towards industry and business issues. Language skills would be a plus.
